Energy Monitor via Bluetooth®

The VOTRONIC Energy Monitor consists of a special communication module (Bluetooth® Connector S-BC) which, in conjunction with a VOTRONIC solar charge controller (from 2013) with LCD Solar Computer S and/or the LCD Battery Computer S or VPC Jupiter with Smart Shunt, transmits the values shown on the corresponding display to a mobile device via Bluetooth®. The required app for Android or iOS is available free of charge in the Google Play Store or iOS App Store.

Connecting the Bluetooth® Connector S-BC is very easy. It is simply plugged in between the VOTRONIC solar charge controller and the LCD Solar Computer S or between the Smart Shunt and the LCD Battery Computer S or VPC Jupiter using the modular cable included in the scope of delivery.

The device has two inputs and two outputs, so that a Bluetooth® Connector S-BC can be connected to:

For solar data
a solar controller (possibly several via the solar data extender) with optional LCD solar computer S
For battery data
a Smart Shunt with LCD battery Computer S or VPC Jupiter

can be connected together.

Auf diese Weise können die gesamten Informationen der Bordbatterie, wie Spannung, Lade- bzw. Entladeströme und die Restkapazität, als auch alle Daten der Solar-Anlage komfortabel über das Handy oder Tablet abgelesen werden. Zusätzlich werden die wichtigsten Daten protokolliert, graphisch aufbereitet und sind für einen längeren Zeitraum gespeichert. Selbst die Ausgabe als CSV-Datei für eigene Analysezwecke ist möglich. Natürlich kann der Bluetooth® Connector S-BC auch jederzeit nachträglich installiert werden..
