SCENARIO 1:
SHORE POWER CONNECTION (CEE plug)
At the campsite, you can connect your motorhome to the power supply via a CEE socket.
THE REQUIREMENT:
RCBO Type 2P – This RCBO monitors both conductors (L and N) and switches them off completely in the event of a fault. This guarantees complete personal protection, even if the connection has been reversed.
Why not 1P+N? Since it is impossible to completely rule out the possibility of L and N being swapped when connecting to shore power, maximum protection can only be guaranteed by using a type 2P RCBO.
OUR PRODUCT:
RCBO Type 2P – Item No. 2154
SCENARIO 2:
SELF-SUFFICIENT ON THE ROAD – POWER VIA SHORE POWER AND INVERTER (WITHOUT GRID PRIORITY SWITCH)
You use a 230 V supply via the inverter in the vehicle without connecting to shore power.
THE REQUIREMENT:
RCBO type 1P+N – Ideal for this case. Since the inverter clearly specifies the polarity of the phase and neutral conductor, an RCBO with single-pole monitoring is perfectly adequate – lightweight, efficient, and safe.
OUR PRODUCT:
RCBO Type 1P+N – Item No. 2151
SZENARIO 3:
SHORE POWER AND INVERTER – WITH GRID PRIORITY SWITCHING (NVS)
Your system automatically decides between shore power and inverter, depending on what is currently available.
THE REQUIREMENT:
An RCBO combination module – It contains both RCBO types (1P+N and 2P) in one sophisticated system. Whether you are at a motorhome park or off-grid: The mains priority circuit automatically detects whether shore power is available and switches it through. No compromises – maximum safety in every situation.
OUR PRODUCT:
RCBO Combi – Item No. 2153
Charging technology at the highest level
The battery is the central element of a vehicle's electrical system. It requires the greatest attention, maintenance and care and, above all, it must be charged correctly.
