The tank sensors measure the fill level in the tank and transmit the measured value to the display using just 2 cables. They are supplied with 12 V or 24 V from the display unit and are de-energised when not in use. The encapsulated electronics (IP 67) are also suitable for inhospitable operation on underground tanks and are frost-proof. All VOTRONIC tank sensors work independently of pressure, i.e. there is no falsification of measured values in the event of overpressure in the tank. All VOTRONIC tank sensors work according to the capacitive measuring method. The linear measuring signal transmits the fill level of the tank to the display, where it is shown in 3 colours via 10 LEDs. The advantage of this measuring method is not only the stepless measurement but also its depth effect and thus the insensitivity to dirt, deposits and solids in the tank.
