VOTRONIC’s solar controllers with MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) technology are among the best in solar charging technology. An intelligent microprocessor continuously determines the solar module’s maximum power point—that is, the point with the highest power output. The excess voltage is automatically converted into additional charging current for the battery.

Advantages:

  • More charging current with the same module surface
  • Shorter charging time
  • Higher energy yield—especially at cooler temperatures, during the transitional season, or with modules that have a higher number of solar cells.

Compared to conventional PWM controllers, VOTRONIC MPPT controllers have been proven to deliver more power—even in diffuse light or at low temperatures. The high-frequency switching technology, combined with highly efficient components, ensures minimal losses and maximum efficiency.

The devices charge fully automatically and precisely adjust the charging current and voltage to the specific battery type. An intelligent control system protects against overcharging and automatically detects when recharging is needed, even while the battery is in use.

Two charging outputs:

  • Main output: For the onboard battery—whether lead-acid, gel, AGM, or
    modern LiFePO4 batteries
  • Second output: For maintaining the charge of the starter battery

Special feature:
